What’s something that makes you glow on the inside?  What fuels you?  I once heard someone say that one’s passion is linked to what he or she would do if money were no object.  Using this logic, I can definitely say that one thing I am passionate about is working with kids.  I really enjoy instilling confidence and joy in kids of all ages, so messages like these always give me a golden feeling of accomplishment.
Our youth are our most important group of people.  We must instill values in them early, as they have to the potential to improve or destroy our future.  There are way too many kids nowadays who have no guidance and leadership, which sets them up for failure.  One my of life goals is to be a role model to the kids who needs guidance.  I want to help the kids who have low self-esteem.  I want to assist in helping kids improve their basketball skills.
Overall, it’s messages like these that give me a sense of purpose.  I will continue to persevere on my quest to reach out to as many young athletes as possible and help them improve mentally and physically.  I will give 110% effort during training sessions, videos, and blogs.  I will also never show fear and give up when adversity appears (courage).  I expect those of you on the journey to do the same!  Be blessed everyone!
